"She was built for Chester Lambert Bethel, a building contractor out of Nassau. She was used her for hunting trips to Andros.
Mr. Bethel is mentioned in Haziel Albury's book as having brought the first generator to Man-O-War. Bill is the 5th owner, having
owned her since 1983. She was previously owned by Dr. Pierce on Man-O-War. She had one sistership, Luggar, built prior. Emerson made the model, said to be similar to Rough Waters." |

Willard told me that they did not have access to teak back then. I bought it from a boat captain who had just lost his job and was moving out west. I renovated it at my house and then put it on my boat and took it back to MOW. It used to have an inboard engine." |
