Reflections - Middle Prong
This is looking downstream at the reflection in this pool. The water at the bottom of the image, the head of the pool, was a little more disturbed. It gets calmer towards the top of the image. It has sort of an Impressionism look to it.

This is looking almost directly down into this pool at the trees above. The two blobs on the sides are rocks that the tripod was standing on. If you look closely, you can see dead leaves and rocks that are under the surface of the water.

Fantastic golden reflection
(from a tree with yellow brightly sunlit leaves on the other side of the river). It was insanely beautiful staring at this patch of water through the viewfinder. The leaf just happened to fall on it as I was about to take a shot. Then it quickly floated down the river. All very kewl.

Sparks Lane
This was in Cades Cove taken a little before sunrise.  This image was accepted to the "55th Annual All Florida Juried Competition and Exhibition" at the Boca Raton Museum of Art.  Here is a nice review from the show.  (I can see now why entertainers get such a kick out of reviews. :-)

Dew on Horsehair
This is the other image that was in that show. From my artist's statement:
I find symbolism here - the barbed wire is man, the horsehair the domestication of nature by man, and the dew and fog primordial Mother Nature.

This appears to have captured some cool little bending of the light at the top of the sun.  (click on image to enlarge)  I guess it was the start of a Green Flash (although I didn't see the green) or related to it.
