Back to the Bahamas and the dinghy project
After spending the winter in Florida, I returned to the Bahamas and the dinghy project. After just a couple days on the boat, I feel 100% better.
Tech Projects – Camera Controller video
I’ve been playing with tech projects for a couple weeks and have just posted a video from my camera controller project. The UI is on an iPod and it works over WiFi to the camera (via an Arduino microcontroller). The video and more details are here.

Mine Tour in Potosí
I took the overnight bus from La Paz to Potosí. The mines at Potosí had been a big source of silver for Spain. The mines are still being worked – 180 mines active of a total of 400. It looks like very hard work. Here is a blurb with a couple videos of the mine tour that I went on.
